Nuria FERMOSO is responsible for managing and coordinate the different IATA programs and initiatives, towards an end-to-end journey that is secure, seamless and efficient, from a passenger experience and facilitation perspective. In her role in Europe and CIS she leads Europe strategy and coordinate regional activities on the facilitation area, such as those related to border control or passenger data exchange, in close collaboration with industry stakeholders and regulators.She is also responsible for the implementation of IATA initiatives, including Fast Travel or One Identity. Nuria has extensive experience in the Travel industry, setting standards as well as streamlining process efficiencies that enhance customer experience and satisfaction as well as reduce costs for airlines and airports.Nuria joined IATA in 2008 and has been widely working with the aviation community to improve processes in Billing and Settlement, Risk Management and more recently in airline and airport customer experience. Nuria holds a Degree in Business Administration by from the University of Salamanca (Spain)

Güliz OZTURK has been working at Pegasus Airlines since 2005. Formerly, she worked for Turkish Airlines for 13 years in various positions like International Relations Manager, VP Alliances, VP Marketing and the last position was SVP Sales and Marketing when she left. During her career there, she launched the first web site and the web sales of the Company. The introduction of the FFP and the co-branded credit card partnership were other important projects she led. Mrs. Öztürk, joined to Pegasus Airlines in 2005, as the Head of Scheduled flights, to commence the scheduled operation as the company was a charter operator at the time. She was the member of the team who has successfully transformed the company from a charter operator into the first and the only LCC of Turkey. Mrs. Öztürk, who is graduated from Bosphorus University, Istanbul, is currently working as the Chief Commercial Officer of Pegasus.

Dr. Konstantinos KALLIGIANNIS is the Managing Director of K.K. Aviation Ltd and the Head of Aviation Programs and an Associate Professor in Aviation at Kazimiero Simonavičiaus Universitetą in Lithuania, as well as a Visiting Associate Professor in Aviation at the Internationale Hochschule Bad Honnef (IUBH) in Germany; the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Finland; and at the Hellenic American University in the USA. Konstantinos has a strong aviation focused background both in terms of his academic qualifications (both Master’s & PhD degrees specialized in Aviation) as well as in terms of his professional career (in the international airport industry) as well as in academia (teaching aviation courses in the US & Europe) and in providing airport professional training courses.

Dato’ Azmi MURAD was appointed as ISG’s Executive Director starting 1 September 2015. Prior to this appointment, he was the Senior General Manager of Operation Services in Malaysia Airports since June 2006. His 14 years of experience as Airport Manager at various airports has provided him with substantial experience and management acumen of airport operations. He also held various senior management positions covering different portfolios, namely General Manager of Sepang International Circuit in 2000, General Manager of Corporate Communications and Air Traffic Services in 2001, and later General Manager of Malaysia Airports (Sepang) Sdn. Bhd. in 2004. Was the Chairman of the Airport Council International World Facilitation and Services Standing Committee until November 2011.

Atilla KORMAZOGLU is a graduate of Civil Aviation & Transportation Management at Anadolu University and he has MBA degree from Istanbul University. He is also a graduate of Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program. He joined Celebi in 1993 and he took several operational and executive roles within the group. After his tenure at Celebi Hungary as a Managing Director, he took the role of Ground Handling and Business Development President for the group in 2010. Currently, he is serving as President for Ground Handling & Cargo (EMEA) and an executive director for the group companies. Atilla is an active Board Member of ASA – Airport Services Association.
Roundtable Discussion Moderator

Nevzat ARSAN, CCO of Atlasglobal Airlines is responsible for all aspects of Atlasglobal’s commercial divisions such as revenue Management, network planning, sales, marketing, customer experience, alliances and corporate communication. Under his guidance, recent successful projects have included the implementation of extensive codeshare projects with the likes of Air France, KLM and Air Serbia, the implementation of fare families and various in-house revenue integrity projects. Nevzat holds a master’s degree in Air Transport Management and has had prior pricing roles with both British Midland International and Etihad Airways
